Les Miserables

(The Miserable)

I have been working on reading on this book for what seems like forever. First I read the abridged version. When I got to a place in the abridged version that I realized that is was abridged, then I knew I was going to want to read the unabridged. But I went ahead and kept reading the abridged first. I had done that before with what turned out to be very abridged, children's versions of books. It does help to understand the plot better, I think.

So now I am in the unabridged about 700 pages out of 1200 some odd pages. When I get through with that I have a bunch of other reading that I want to get to.

I think I might post some quotes from Les Miserables in the future. One day I hope I can see the play version.
