I finished reading Ron Paul's book The Revolution.
I might need to reread it to be able to tell anyone what it said! That's how I am, I'm afraid. But I would recommend the book to other people, it's not very expensive, fairly easy to read and goes into a lot of the problems we are facing today with some fresh ideas or rather as he claims old ideas that politicians have veered away from.
I don't know what would happen if we stopped the government's war on drugs. But then is it really working? And what if we were to go back to a gold standard for money, what would happen? I don't know if that is what he would want to do if he was elected.
How about if we eliminated income tax and cut down, way down on federal spending? I thing that could work!
And what he says about economics in general makes a sense to me, but it is scary to think about.
I happened to be watching news today when they announced that Ron Paul is having a convention at the same time as Republican convention. Then they interviewed him about it. He said it's not a going to be a convention, just a meeting. I wonder what's up with that?
