I like to experiment with cooking. The other day I tried putting some cherries into a chicken stir-fry, because I had them and I thought I wonder how that would taste. It wasn't bad. But it was mainly a texture thing, because the cherries were over powered by the other flavors I was using (including fresh ginger and garlic).
I have two soup recipes that were experiments that I really liked so I wrote down what I threw in so I could remember how to do them again. One of them I have had daydreams about entering into a recipe contest. I haven't gone looking for one. Maybe I should try it.
Do I sound nuts? (I wanted to make it from soup to nuts, sorry. Ha!)
