end of the world

"End of the world dreading" is how one person describes himself on his myspace page. I was looking at his page again recently, and thought, me too, I would have to put myself in that category.

God is in control--take a deep breath. Repeat.

Today, I heard about David Wilkerson issuing an urgent message warning of impending doom. So, I went to his website to see what he had said. Is he right? I dunno? What to do? He says stockpile food.

I have been stockpiling groceries some because of fear about the economy. I have always had a dozen or so cans of food handy in my food stocks, several cans of soup and few of several kinds of vegetables, maybe a couple of cans of tuna and salmon, and such. But I've put away a few more. I haven't figured out how long it would last.

We often worry about things that never happen. Isn't that true? And if the world is going to end, it is going to. Can't be stopped or prevented. I do believe it (the end of the world) is predicted in the Bible. It's just a matter of the timing.

I'm not sure how helpful it will be to have a month's supply of food on hand to watch the world end.

IDW didn't say that it was ending by the way, just trouble coming.
