Making sense of things

I figured out something since I wrote my last post. I think I might have so many pencils not because I couldn't ever find a pencil when I wanted one but because I couldn't find a pencil sharpener. That makes more sense! Right?? Hmm... No not really. Enough said about pencils.

I have been wondering about something: Why did God create ticks?

Interesting facts about ticks they can live for months without a host. Often they crawl up on tall grass and then they just wait. They can detect movement and when a host passes they grab on. And one tick can lay 1000s of babies.

Why did God make them so they could live for months like they do without a host? And why do they have to have so many babies?

I used to pick them off my dog and throw them on the ground thinking they would die if they weren't lucky enough for my dog to walk by soon. Now I know. Bad idea.

But I'm sure God decided to put ticks here for some purpose.

In my life I guess sometimes things are like that. You neglect a situation and it becomes a much bigger problem.
